Daniela Barria is degree in Physics with a minor in Astronomy, Universidad Catolica del Norte, Antofagasta, Chile (2006). Thesis: Numerical analysis of changes in superhumps periods for SU UMa type dwarf novae. Thesis director: Dr. Nikolaus Vogt.
Daniela is currently PhD student in Physics, University of Concepción.
Her research interests include the study of variable stars, binary systems, cataclysmic variables.
