The research area of Dr. Ricardo Bustos, is concentrated in
Radio-Astronomy, Astronomical Instrumentation and Cosmology through
observations of the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation.
He is an Electrical Engineer from Universidad de Chile. Between 2003 and
2008, he earned his PhD in Engineering Science, Electrical Enginnering,
at the Universidad de Concepción. In the same period he was a Special
Student of Astronomy at the California Institute of Technology. In 2009,
he joined the Astronomy Department UdeC, where he works in the
Radio-Astronomy Laboratory with Dr. Neil Nagar.
