Dr. Baitian TangDr. Baitian Tang received his Ph.D. from Washington State University, USA in May, 2015. Baitian has broad scientific interests in star clusters, elliptical galaxies, and quasars. During his Ph.D., Baitian applied the stellar population synthesis models to elliptical galaxy integrated-light spectra, with major focuses on element abundances, composite stellar population, and initial mass function. He joined University of Concepcion in Oct. 2015, and is now actively involving in Gaia-ESO and APOGEE2 surveys.
