Accomodation in Concepcion

Approximate room rates are given in Chilean Pesos (CLP). You can convert the amount in CLP into your favourite currency here. Note that we give the approximate room rates only for a quick orientation. They may help you to find the "right" hotel for you (where "right" depends on the money you can spend and the comfort you need). However, you will only know the actual room rates when you make a reservation at the hotel of your choice!

We will ask for special prices for the conference participants and post them on this page, when available. Please mention MODEST15 with your reservation.

Foreigners paying in USD or with a foreign credit card do not have to pay the 19% IVA (= sales tax). The prices we give on our webpage are including IVA.

Warning: The very cheap hotels/hostals could have rooms without private bathroom or offer both options. Please check before you book (bano privado=private bathroom; con = with; sin = without).

Below we give a list of hotels and hostels in Concepcion, including their adresses and links to their webpages, where you can find more information (mostly in spanish though) and make your reservation. All hotels on the list are in the centre of Concepcion, in a distance between one and two kilometers approximately from the venue of the conference.
